The client requested NKRP to analyze the reasons for declining exports. The NKRP team determined that competition in the auto parts sector was putting downward pressure on revenues and margins. We also determined that there was a lucrative segment of the market in high tensile auto parts that our client could diversify into given it made timely investments. This was a high growth market with multiple global car manufacturers setting up shop in India

Our client achieved the following results:

  • A new manufacturing plant was setup to cater exclusively to car manufacturers, with the rapid growth of the Indian car market – the diversification has been successful. Today our client is a leading supplier to multiple carmakers in India.
  • There has been consistent increase in the revenue which reached Rs.1000 million in the year 2016-17 with EBIDTA at Rs.400 million.
